Short Course: Leadership in Screen

This course is aimed at mid-career stage professionals looking to move into a more senior position. Iain Tweedale will coach you on practical leadership skills to help you to develop effective working practises and accelerate your career. You will have the chance to explore a range of leadership styles, working together with a group of peers.
Leadership in Screen is designed to tackle the lack of structured leadership and management training within the screen industries, where many new leaders are expected to ‘pick it up on the job’, and offers relevant case studies in the context of the sector.
This free course will be delivered over three 2 hour sessions via Zoom, at the following times:
Wednesday 22 June, 3pm – 5pm – How do you lead? (leadership styles)
Wednesday 29 June, 3pm – 5pm – Leadership toolkit
Wednesday 6 July, 3pm – 5pm – Putting the tools into practice with case studies
Trainer
Iain Tweedale is a leader in the film and TV industry with wide experience in digital media and AI in both journalism and broadcasting. He has worked in large corporations such as the BBC and IBM, small technology start-ups, and is the former director of Tramshed Tech, a co-working space and technology hub. He uses his own experience of the creative industries to provide specialist leadership coaching in the film and TV industries, helping creatives to become great leaders.
