Episode 6 of Coming Up Next, with Ade Rawcliffe and Miranda Wayland, is now live.
The BBC and ITV have made significant efforts to put diversity and inclusion at the top of their agendas. We hear from those charged with affecting this change.
Ade Rawcliffe, Group Director of Diversity and Inclusion at ITV, and Miranda Wayland, Head of Creative Diversity at the BBC, believe they have a great opportunity to ensure change happens this time.
Ade and Miranda unravel how lockdown and the Black Lives Matter movement have motivated and propelled the urgency for change. Miranda shares her thoughts on the importance of “creating an industry of equality and opportunity”, in which the equality, diversity and inclusion push needs to be “woven into the fabric of business as usual”.
