Trainer

Leandra Ashton read Modern and Medieval Languages at Newnham College, Cambridge before earning a scholarship to train on the three year acting degree at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). She founded Flying Cloud Theatre in 2009, bringing the communication and storytelling skills refined in theatre to business, government and education. Her fascination with language, stories and performance has led her to build a body of work that explores the stories we unconsciously tell ourselves and the world.

She regularly delivers her portfolio of workshops to a broad cross section of businesses, government departments, universities and community groups. She has worked with diplomats, entrepreneurs, nurses, board directors, refugees, doctors, MBA students and school children. Her design and delivery of experiential training for businesses and organizations has taken her across the UK, Europe, USA and Middle East. Clients include: Champagne Bollinger, Essence Digital, NHS, Ahli United, Lindum Group, Shepherd Group, The Samaritans, Taylor’s Port and Sirius Minerals.

At the heart of everything Leandra does is her belief in the vast potential we have as individuals and as a collective. She believes in the powers of ‘being’, creativity and communication to release unconscious brakes that prevent our potential from flowing. Her approach is always practical: encouraging people to experience for themselves different states of being, so that they can decide for themselves the story of their lives.
