Introduction to 3D Capture Workshop

In this two hour session, dive into the exciting world of 3D and learn how to collect 3D scans of real-life objects to get a digital 3D object.

You will learn

  • How 3D capture works, including some of the different ways of capturing an object
  • What 3D scanning can be useful for, along with some hardware and software you can use

This session is aimed at those with no prior experience or knowledge of 3D scanning.

Please be aware that all 3D scanners have flashing lights used during calibration and scanning of objects could trigger seizures in photosensitive individuals. If you feel this may affect you, please let us know prior to the session.
