SIGN, in partnership with XR Stories and funded by an AHRC Public Engagement grant, announces a skills and training conference to support the future development of the creative screen industries.
The Future is Northern: Skills and Training Conference will be held at The Studio, in Leeds, on 27 March 2023. It will enable creative industry professionals, policymakers and educators to explore questions around skills and training within the creative industries including: what will audiences be watching and how can we equip the creatives of the future to make it? And, how can the screen industries become more inclusive and accessible?
The one-day conference, funded by an AHRC Public Engagement grant, XR Stories and SIGN, will give participants the chance to engage with a range of talks, panel sessions and workshops. The day is of particular relevance to policymakers, researchers, educators and those working in the creative screen industries.
