XR Stories’ research fellow, Lauren Ward, has launched a new survey with the aim of better understanding the accessibility needs of autistic adults in viewing audio-visual media.
This study has been funded by SIGN, as part of the A3i project – a collaboration between York Audio Lab researchers, Sheffield Autism Research Lab, BBC R&D and a co-production panel of autistic adults.
We are looking for autistic adults (with official diagnoses or self-identified) to complete the survey. You need to be at least 18 years old and based in the UK.
Results from the survey will be used to inform recommendations to broadcasters, content creators and academic researchers on how to make content and media technologies more accessible for autistic individuals.
