SIGN has awarded funding to five Yorkshire and Humber-based SMEs to host a placement as part of the Placements, Internships and Insights scheme.
We’re delighted to announce that we’ll be supporting Candour Productions, Clockwork Films, Fettle Animation, Oxygen Films and Tyke Films.
The placements will support individuals including those from diverse backgrounds that are currently under-represented or have been excluded from getting into or developing their career in the screen industries.
Starting in July this year, the placements offer opportunities in TV research, production, social media and marketing, with several of them being open for applications now (see below).
Due to changes in working practices brought about by Covid-19, participants may be required to work remotely, however some roles will offer opportunities to work in person. This could include working in a production office or on a location shoot.
The SIGN team will be working closely with businesses and participants during the placements to ensure that both parties get the most out of the scheme.
